BARE BONES (Written by Rey):

Responding to a tip from Jack Russell – The Werewolf by Night – Moon Knight investigates a mysterious tower that appears to be expecting him.

Traversing many booby traps along the way, it’s not long before Moon Knight is confronted with the culprit seemingly responsible – the ever elusive Shroud. The two engage in a lengthy battle, and both are able to gain the upper hand at different points of the battle.

The throwdown ends when The Shroud reveals that he is not alone – The Night Shift are there waiting…but for very different purposes. The Shroud reveals that he hopes to recruit Moon Knight into the Night Shift, and in a surprising revelation, hopes that Moon Knight will lead them in his place. The battle in the tower and the traps set were an elaborate scheme to test Moon Knight, and the White Knight does not take kindly to being played.

Moon Knight responds saying that his allegiance is still with the Avengers and remotely calling upon his Mooncopter, Moon Knight ponders the proposition, and the man who seems to be a kindred spirit…the one called, The Shroud!
