Hello Loony Listeners!

We’ve another Isla Ra Interview for you coming up this weekend, and this time it is fellow Loony member, Josh, whom I speak with on the show to go through his origin – it’s not to the lengths of being abandoned in teh desert and stumbling onto the Temple of Khonshu….but it is an interesting insight into one of our Loony members as to how he started to get into comics; his strange yet understandable affinity for Batman Returns; as well as his love for his Local Comic Store (LCS) –

Josh has also chosen a very interesting array of comics (we absolutely LOVE the variety shared on the ISLA RA interviews thus far!) and so I’ve no doubt all the listeners will pick up something after listening to Josh’s review of his desert island books.

Josh has actually also chosen a Moon Knight comic as one of his top 4! So you know he’s a Loony through and through!! 🙂 I won’t say which one – as always, you’ll need to tune in to find out! 🙂

There are going to be some rich and varied episodes in the next coming weeks. The Friday coming, my fearless partner in crime, Eef and myself will be welcoming in our first child (let’s call him Little Marc for the time being! :P) so I’ll be settling into my new role as a Dad for the first time ever and soaking up this big event in our lives.

Podcast-wise, that means that there will be a mix of pre-recorded episodes, as well as episodes hosted by the other High Priests of Khonshu – Rebecca and Connor – as well as an episode hosted by one of our Loonies, ‘Our Man on the Streets’ Tommy!

So should be an absolute cracker, and I’m looking forward to tuning in and listening to hear ITK from the ‘other side of the fence’ whilst changing Little Marc’s nappies!! 🙂

Thank you once again for all the support and thanking you for all the love given out to us for our recent 50th episode! I’m really digging this community and hope our little boy will be part of it some day as well! 🙂

Finally, with my hiatus, the OTM Newsletters may be on hold for the time being…we’ll still get the episodes out, but things will be pared down…don’t be surprised if you see a newsletter here or there… but the focus will be on the episodes in the coming weeks! 🙂
