One of these days, I’m going to see if I can set up a function for you, Loonies, to leave voicemail too….as we always love to hear your dulcet tones and honeycombed vocals! 😛

Once I do, you’ll be the first to hear about it, don’t you worry!

Apart from the show, we’ve had an overwhelming response from Loonies wanting to come on the show to give us their Isla Ra (aka desert island) comics. These ‘bonus’ episodes will feature one of the Loonies on the show and we’ll talk about everything from how that Loony got into comics, Moon Knight, listening/hosting podcasts..then we’ll take a look at the four comic books they’d take with them to a desert island (or the Isla Ra) if they had a choice of only four!

We treat these as a hybrid of an interview show and a radio play so-to-speak…dependent on the issues chosen, we venture to those locations to review and talk about the book – to soak up the essence! It’s a lot of fun and sure do hope you enjoy listening to them – they are fun to do and ultimately very rewarding.

OK, that’s it from me for this week’s newsletter – keep your eyes peeled for the new episodes dropping at the end of the weekend.. can’t wait to wrap up the modern run…oh! We’ll also be sure to announce what the NEXT modern run will be this time around. Yes, thanks to the Loonies who dropped int heir recommendations, we reveal what got the most votes! Plenty to see, do and hear as a Loony in the coming week!
