Howyagoing Loonies!!
Yep, it’s the weekend which means we will be recording the next episode at some point, and we are thrilled to bits that it’s the brand spanking new issue to come from Max Bemis and Jacen Burrows!
Yessiree, it’s Moon Knight Vol. 9, issue #192 – Crazy Runs in the Family Part 5 a and it’s certainly a humdinger!
This week’s show we have another gracious volunteer from our Loony community, Corey Hardiman, to narrate for us the Bare Bones! It’s always pretty special when we ask our fellow Loonies to dip in and come on the show and this is no different!
I’ll plug it more on the show and in the podcast show notes, but Corey also so happens to be a fine creator in his own right and has a series called Sister Mercy It’s going through a different iteration and hopefully will end up being a graphic novel too! Sounds pretty cool and I’ll be sure to check it out and talk about it on the upcoming show!
The latest issue of Moon Knight however, has garnered alot of interest amongst our community, and we’ve already received a fair bit of feedback. If you haven’t thrown your hat into the ring and want to give your two cents worth, please contact us on any of the formats below –

It’s been a pretty busy last month or so, but we are so excited by what’s ahead! Apart from the latest Moon Knight issue coming out, there is anticipation for Moon Knight’s appearance in the upcoming Daredevil #600 where a group of DD’s friends hope to take down Mayor Fisk!
Added to this, there’s the big Marvel Event, “Doctor Strange: Damnation” which features our boy in white too!
As previously mentioned, we’ve teamed up with three other podcasts –
- Sons of the Dragon: The Immortal Iron Fist Podcast
- Defenders TV Podcast
- Inner Demons: A Ghost Rider Podcast
to cover ALL the issues involving the Damnation event. This week, it’s the fellas over at Defenders TV Podcast, reviewing Doctor Strange #386, the first tie-in book to the event..it’s fun, light and informative, so I urge you to give it a go if you can. If you’ve missed out, Damnation #1 (the first issue of the core series) was reviewed in the Iron Fist podcast, Sons of the Dragon !
We’ll be reviewing the NEXT installment of Damnation with issue #2 of the core series nbext week, which we absolutely can’t wait for…and we have a few things cooking for that show which we can’t wait to reveal!
All four podcasts are part of a greater network of like-minded podcasts called The Collective, and all 15 or so of the podcasts involved are busily working away coming up with fun collaborative projects and ideas which again I can’t divulge in, but absolutely can’t wait to reveal down the line!
It’s an exciting time for podcasts and an exciting time for comics, TV and film in general, if you are into the medium!! I better stop ranting now – enough reading this – get out there and start listening to these great podcasts!! 🙂
