Welcome once again Loonies!
Geez, the weeks roll by rather quickly don’t they? We dropped the last episode a little late this week, which can only mean one thing (and that thing is good!) – in a short turnaround, we will have the next installment of the show for your aural pleasures!
Picking up where we left off last episode, Connor and I will be looking again towards the first appearances of Moon Knight. During this time, he still hadn’t landed a title book of his own, so we’ll be looking at Marvel Spotlight #28 and #29. As mentioned in last episode, I really do not know what to make of it – it’s funny, entertaining, incredibly bad, and utterly cheesy all-in-one! The two issues like last episode are a nice two-parter to the story, and we meet one of the most interesting villains in the Marvel Universe….period!
We also have the great pleasure of having another guest narrator to give us the Bare Bones for the two books for review. Wayno joins the ITK podcast to give us his very original rendition of the Bare Bones – I’ve had a little listen today at one of them, and all I can say is that you are in for a treat, and it’s like nothing we’ve heard so far!! 😛
Wayno hosts the incredible Courtside podcast – they are a juggernaut of a podcast, having recently reached 300 episodes and is a run-the-clock, season-to-season discussion on all things NBA and basketball!
Wayno is also a keen comic book fan and happens to work in the best comic book store in the universe too (Kings Comics, 310 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW, Aus-Traya!)
If you enjoy a good laugh and even if you aren’t into basketball, I recommend this upbeat, highly entertaining podcast – so please, check it out!
The fun won’t stop there! We also hope to have our 3rd and 4th High Priests for the show too, Rebecca and Larky. It’s always a hoot to have Rebecca on, so we’ll be in high gear and full throttle for the upcoming episode 17 ahead!
In the meantime, please either grab out your copies of these issues (they can be found on Marvel Unlimited, as well as in the Essential and Epic Collection of Moon Knight….oh, and in singles form, if you happen to be so lucky!), get re-acquainted, and we’ll see you Mo(o)nday hopefully for the reviews!

Well, that about does it for me now…I’m going to try and watch more of Netflix The Punisher… episode 9 – it’s such a good show…..but still no sign of Spector…..!
